These elastomeric ligature ties are intended for use in orthodontic treatment. They secure the archwire into the slots of orthodontic brackets, providing gentle, continuous force to guide tooth movement. They are available in various sizes, colors, and force levels to suit different clinical needs.

2.Instructions for Use

Grasping: Use orthodontic ligature forceps (pliers) to grasp one ligature tie.

Stretching: Gently stretch the ligature tie with the forceps. Do not overstretch to avoid tearing.

Placement: Place the stretched ligature over the bracket wings, securing the archwire in the bracket slot.

Positioning: Ensure the ligature tie is fully seated around both bracket wings, with no gaps or twists.

Inspection: Check that the archwire is firmly held and that the ligature tie is intact. Replace if any damage is observed.

Disposal: After removal during an adjustment session, discard the used ligature tie immediately as clinical waste.

3.Precautions

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat (above 40°C), and humidity.

Avoid contact with alcohol, acetone, or other organic solvents, as they may degrade the elastomeric material.

Do not stretch excessively beyond the recommended limit – this may cause premature breakage or loss of force.

Inspect each ligature tie before use for any visible defects (cracks, discoloration, or deformation).

This product is not made with natural rubber latex unless specified. Check packaging for material composition.

In case of allergic reaction (redness, swelling, or discomfort), remove the product and consult a dentist immediately.

Keep out of reach of children and pets.
